Day 1: Yogyakarta Arrival – Half Day Yogyakarta Excursions

In the afternoon, head to Sultanate Palace, a famous spot for tourists to discover the magnificent architecture of Javanese and the reason why it holds an important role in the spirit of the Indonesian people.
Later on, indulge in the hectic pace of life in Malioboro Street. Don’t miss a chance to soak into the hustle and bustle atmosphere of Beringarjo Traditional Market and gaze out at the local trade.

Day 2: Mt. Merapi – Prambanan Temple

Rise before dawn this morning to take a sunrise tour to Mount Merapi to catch the majestic morning light. Get on a jeep and head up to the base camp. On arrival, take your time to witness the illumination at the break of dawn. Remember to bring a jacket along as the weather in the morning can be a bit cold.

Day 4: Borobudur Temple – Chicken Church – Gumuk Pasir

This morning, your guide will escort you for a sunrise trip to Borobudur Temple – the largest Buddhist temple in the world and one of the most important cultural sites in Indonesia. Enjoy the majestic sunrise over the temple and then return to the hotel for breakfast.
Next up, make your way to Bukit Rhema, well-known as the Chicken Church. Set in the lush jungle, this interesting spot which was built like the shape of a giant chicken is the destination for the local prayers.
