Day 1: Bali Arrival – Munduk - Starting Indonesia Family Trip

Welcome to Bali! Upon arrival, be warmly greeted by Go Indonesia Tours’ private guide and driver. They then escort you to the hotel in Munduk for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Munduk Discovery

The 2nd day gives you an opportunity to travel around the beautiful village of Munduk. Nestled in the mountains of Bali’s northern coast, it is surrounded by lush forests, beautiful waterfalls and coffee, and cocoa plantations. Start the day with a visit to three waterfalls near your resort. Be captivated by the path down to the valley which is densely planted with clove, coffee trees, and many others. From here you can marvel at the beauty the west coast of Bali. Along the way, you can stop and chat with the locals to gain more insights into their simple life. As you reach the three waterfalls, admire its breathtaking beauty and relax in the cool mountain air.

Day 3: Munduk – Menjangan Island

Wake up in the sound of bird-singing this morning and your private driver will transfer you to Menjangan via Brahmavihara Arama monastery and Banjar hot springs where you will stop for short visits. Dating back to the 20th century, the monastery set amidst the jungle which will deliver you a peaceful and quiet ambiance. After that, continue tour sightseeing to the hot springs where you can immerse yourself in the pleasant water to power up your energy.

Day 4 & 5: Menjangan Island Relaxation

The 4 and 5 are full for you to explore the stunning island of Menjangan. Today, experience the beauty of the national park on a horse riding. You will be guided by the trained staff of the resort who know well about the region to make sure to give you the best riding to capture the most beautiful view.
On the third day in Menjangan, let take a free walk to explore some incredible view that can be reached by foot only.

Day 6: Menjangan – Banyuwangi

After breakfast this morning, transfer by speedboat to Banyuwangi, a good base for exploring some of the unforgettable features in East Java. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 7: Mt Ijen Sunrise Hike

Rise before dawn this morning to take a sunrise hike to Mt Ijen. Make your way through rural villages, coffee and clove plantation to Paltuding. Hike up to the Ijen plateau through the hilly landscape to reach the crater edge which gives you an incredible view of the turquoise sulfur lake.

Day 8: Banyuwangi – Bromo

This morning, take a scenic train ride to transfer from Bnyuwangi to Probolingo. On arrival, your driver will take you directly to the hotel near Bromo. After settling into your room, enjoy your time at leisure.
In the afternoon, your driver will then transfer you to Penanjakan Hill to watch the majestic sunset from Mt Bromo.

Day 10: Bromo – Malang City Tour

After breakfast, check out at the hotel and drive to Malang, the city of East Java well-known for the exotic scenery and fantastic cultural sites. Head deep to the heart of the Malang to witness the essence of the city which is considered as “Paris of East Java”. Make your first visit to the Tugu Malang monument, an important landmark that plays a vital role in the city.
Next up, proceed to Museum Angkut where you will witness more than 300 collections of types of traditional to modern transportation. Learn more about the area with a visit to the village nearby. Spend your time to explore the village and chat with the people.

Day 11: Malang – Yogyakarta

Leave Malang this morning to take a flight to Yogyakarta, the cultural city of Java. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy your time at leisure.
In the afternoon, your guide will lead you to visit Borobudur temple – one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world recognized as a UNESCO Heritage Site. At sunset, enjoy the sun slowly setting and a mighty volcano emerge from the shadows.

Day 12: Yogyakarta Departure
