Full Itinerary:

Welcome to Jakarta, the megalopolis capital of Indonesia! This morning, meet your local guide at the picking point and ready to start your 1 day Jakarta city tour. Make your first visit to Glodok China Town, the oldest Chinatown in Indonesia and also well-known as one of the largest trading centers in Jakarta. With open markets and small shops reflecting typical old Chinese architecture and beautiful tiny alley, this is one of the best places to take photos in the city. You will then visit Petak Sembilan Chinese temple which dedicated to the Buddhist goddess of mercy, Kuan Yin.

After that, visit Jakarta Historical Museum where you will learn more about the history of Indonesia and observe the collections from the prehistory period of the city to present.

Next up, visit the Istiqlal Mosque (also known as Independence Mosque), the national mosque of Indonesia which was built to commemorate Indonesia independence. With the capacity of 120000 people, it has become the largest mosque in Southeast Asia.

Leaving the mosque, we move to Jakarta Cathedral, a fantastic Catholic church dating back to the early 20th century. Inside the temple is a great place to sit and admire the architecture as well as praying. Here your guide will introduce you about the history and unique décor of the church.
