Day 1: Bali Arrival - Starting 10 Days in Indonesia (D)
Halo! Welcome to Bali – the Land of Gods. It is one of the most fascinating gems of Asia which enchants visitors with the dramatic natural beauty of looming volcanoes, lush terraced rice fields, and colorful traditional customs.
Today, our local guide will welcome you to the airport. Then transfer to the hotel for check-in. this evening, enjoy a special Balinese welcome dinner.
Day 2: Denpasar Sightseeing (B)
Today is a full day to explore the charming Denpasar city – the capital of Bali. This morning, head to Bali Museum to discover a variety of paintings, carvings, and a diorama of a Balinese wedding. After that visited Puputan Square, a solemn place built to commemorate an important event in Bali history Mass suicide as a reaction to the Dutch invasion in 1906.
Finally, fulfill this morning's sightseeing at Pura Jagatnatha – well-known as the Temple of the God of the Universe, is one of the grandest ad most popular temples in Denpasar.
After lunch, enjoy the free afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: Denpasar – Ubud, Barong dance, craft village & Besakih Temple (B)
The morning of day 3 leads you to the quaint village of Ubud to step back in time to witness the centuries-old traditions preserved. From here, you will have a chance to see world-famous treasures including intricate paintings, sculptures, and woodcarvings. Watch the charming Barong and Kris dance performed by a multitude of dancers in an ancient temple courtyard.
Next up, visit the mother temple of Bali – Besakih which is the most important, largest and holiest temple in Bali. So far, nobody knows exactly about the precise origins of the temple, but regarding the legend, the temple is believed to be built 2000 years ago. Be ready to capture the fantastic architecture of the towers blending with the smog and dignified atmosphere.
Day 4: Denpasar – Fly to Yogyakarta (B)
This morning transfer to the airport to take a flight to Yogyakarta, the charming city of cultural heritage and traditional art. On arrival, transfer to your hotel to check-in. This evening, enjoy a fine dinner followed by a presentation of the legendary Ramayana Ballet.
Day 5: Borobudur – Prambanan (B)
This morning we visit one of the greatest Buddhist relics in Southeast Asia and also the most famous attraction in Indonesia – Borobudur temple. Set dramatically on the top of the hill, it provides visitors with a breathtaking view overlooking the lush green fields and mountain ranges.
After that, explore Prambanan city, an ancient complex in the style of Javanese-Hindu art which stands on the ethereal heights of the Dieng Plateau. You will first marvel at the dramatic and important Loro Jonggraang complex dating back to a thousand-year ago dedicated to the Hindu God Siva. Then move to the Sive.
Later, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the time in leisure
Day 6: Yogyakarta City Tour during 10 Days in Indonesia (B, D)
The morning of day 6 delivers you an opportunity to capture the fascinating as well as the charm of Yogyakarta. Start the day at Keraton Royal Center. Behold its great architecture reflecting the Javanese cosmos and see the combination of the old and new and the faith that binds the cultures.
This afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy your time at the hotel or sightseeing in Yogyakarta.
Day 7: Yogyakarta – Medan (B)
Wake up early this morning to pack your luggage and transfer to the airport to take a flight to Medan, the cosmopolitan capital of Sumatra. With the lush valley, cascading waterfalls and active volcanoes, the landscape and traditional customs of Sumatra are seen nowhere else in the world.
On arrival, visit Deli Sultan Palace, also known as Maimoon Palace. Here you can marvel at the mix of Malay, Mogul and Italian architecture and check out the modest collection of ceremonial keris.
Day 8: Medan – Lake Toba (B)
This morning take a scenic drive to Parapat to visit Lake Toba – an extraordinary natural wonder of the world. with 1145 square km and 450 meters deep, Lake Toba is actually more like an ocean. We also take a boat ride to Saamosir right in the middle of Lake Toba which will provide you a dramatic view of the incredible natural beauty of the lake. Take a short trip to the village of Tomok, Tuk-tuk, Sillagan, and Ambarita to see traditional Batak Toba houses, and local dances.
Day 9: Lake Toba – Medan (B, D)
This morning your guide will take you back to Medan via endless views of rubber plantations at Pematang Santar. Enjoy your time at leisure and join in a festive farewell dinner this last evening of 10 days tour in Indonesia.
Day 10: Medan Departure - End of 10 Days in Indonesia (B)
